Effects > Choose Ring, and click the (>) arrow button.
Adding a ring to the light
The r ing is a circular color band that sur rounds
the center of the source object.
Wa rning: This effect is not supported by the mental ray
renderer (page 3–78).

Name—Displays the n ame of the effect. With L ens
Effects you can have many different effects under
one instance of Lens Effects. To keep them in
order , it is often necessary to name them to make
sure that when you change parameters you are
changing the p ar ameters to the correct effect.
On—Applies the effect to the rendered image when
activated. Default = on.
Size—Determines the size of the effect.
Intensity—Cont rols the overall brightness and
opacity of the individual effect. Higher values
produceabright,moreopaqueeffect,andlower
values produces a dim, transparent effect.
