To add an i mage f il ter event:
1.
Either select a valid child ev ent, or make sure
no event is selected in the queue.
2. Click Add Image Filter Event.
An Add Image Filter Event dialog appears.
3. Choose the kind of filter you want from the
Filter Plug-In list.
4. If the S etup button is enabled for this kind of
filter, click Setup to set the filter options.
5. Choose a mask if you want the filter to be
masked or if the kind of filter youre using
requires it.
6. Adjust other Image Filter settings, and then
click OK.
Ifyouselectedachildevent,theImageFilter
event b ecomes its parent. If no event was
selected, the Image Filter event appears at the
end of the queue.
To choose the ma sk f ile:
1.
Click Files.
2. Use the file dialog to choose the mask file, and
then click OK.
3. Choosethechanneltousefromthedrop-down
list of channels.
To pos ition or r esize the ma sk :
•ClickOptions.
AnImageInputOptionsdialogappears,
identical to the dialog you use with Image Input
events.
If the mask is animated, you also use this dialog
to specify its time range and playback speed.

dialogs have the same controls.
Filter Plug-In g roup
Label—Lets you give the e vent a unique name. A
unique name can make the filter event easier to
distinguish in a long list of events.
Filter List—Lists the filter plug-ins (page 3–995)
you have installed.
