Use Dev i ce—Sends the rendered output to a
device such as a video recorder. First click the
Devices button to specify the device, for which an
appropriate driver must already be installed.
R end er ed Fr a me W i nd ow—Displays the rendered
output in the rendered frame window (page 3–5).
Net R ender—Enables network rendering (page
3–173). If this is on, when you render you’ll see the
Network Job Assignment dialog (page 3–190).
Sk ip Existing Images—When activated and Save
File is on, the renderer will skip images in a
sequence that have already been rendered to disk.

Configure Preset d ialog
This dialog lets you change the preset resolution on
a button in the Output Size group of the Common
Parameters rollout.
Inter face
Width—Sets the output width, in pixels.
Height—Sets the output height, in pixels.
Pixel Aspect—Sets the output pixel asp e ct ratio.
Get Current Settings—Gets the cur rent Width,
Height, and Pixel Aspect setti ngs from the Output
Size group, and assigns them to the spinners on
this dialog.

This rollout lets a rendering job send email
notifications, as network rendering does. Such
notifications can be useful when you launch a
lengthy render, such as an animation, and don’t
care to spend all your time near the system doing
the rendering.
Interfa ce
Enable Notifications—When on, the renderer sends
an email notification when certain events happen.
Default=off.
Categories group
Notif y Pr ogr ess—Sendsemailstoindicate
rendering progress. An email is sent every time the
number of frames specified in Every Nth Frame
has completed rendering. Default=off.
Ever y Nth Fr ame—The number of f rames used
by Notify Progress. Default=1.
