The Bitmap Pager Statistics dialog provides
information to help you resolve issues with scenes
that require large amounts of memory for texture
maps. It is intended for advanced users to debug
scenes and help shorten render times.
By default, the dialog is not available in the
interface; it must be added as a hotkey, menu item,
or toolbar button via Customize User Interface
(page 3–792) functionality.
Inter face
The read-only dialog shows statistics in four
categories:
•MemoryUsage
•NumberofPages
•Activity
•MemoryLimit

Contains the settings with which you can manage
theAssetBrowserscachedirectoryandcontrol
drag and drop operations.
Interfa ce
Cache Directory group
Provides sett ings and controls for the cache
directory.
BrowseDisplays the Choose Cache Director y
dialog where you can specify a new directory to use
for your cache. The adjacent text box displays t he
path of the cache directory w here the thumbnail
images are stored. You can change the path either
by editing the field or choosing a directory from
thepanebelowtheFoldersfield.
Note: When you change directories, you’re asked
if you want to clear the cache from the previous
directory. Ifyouchoosetodoso,theprogram
