Manage Scene States Dialog 521

Thedialoglistsallthescenestatesthataresavedin
the MAX file.
SaveOpens t he Save Scene State dialog (page
3–521) where you enter a name for the current
scene state. To select a continuous range of parts,
drag or
Shi f t +click. To make a noncontinuous
selection, use
Ct rl +click.
Restore—Opens the RestoreSceneStatedialog
(page 3–522) for t he selected scene state.
RenameOpens the Rename Scene State dialog
(page 3–522) for the selected scene.
Delete—D eletes the highlighted scene state(s)
w ithout first warning you if you are sure you
want to delete the scene. To select a continuous
range of entries, drag or
Shi f t +click. To selec t
noncontinuous entries, use
Ctrl +click.
Clo se—Closes the Manage Scene States dialog.
Save Scene State
Enter a S cene Sta te name—A text field where you
enteradescriptivenameforthescenestate.
Select Parts—Liststhepartsyoucansaveinthe
scene state. By default, all parts are highlighted
except for Materials and Environment. When you
make a different selection set, it is “sticky, which
means the next time the dialog is displayed, t he
parts you highlighted prev iously are highlighted.
SaveSaves the scene state with the name you
supplied and the parts you selected. The scene
state is saved in the MAX file.
Cance lCloses the dialog without saving the scene
state.
