Play the animation in the view port using the
Play button or the / key.
The animation will play once and stop.
To play your animation in multiple viewpor ts:
1.
In the Time Configuration > Playback group,
turn off Active Viewport Only. Click OK.
2. Play your animation.
The animation now pla ys in all four viewports.
To use s ub-f rame a nimation:
1.
IntheTimeConfiguration>Time
Display group, turn on FRAME:TICKS or
MM:SS:TICKS. Click OK.
2. Movethetimeslidertosetkeyframesin
between keys.
Tip: Use this when you scale an animation down
from a longer length to insure that you won’t
lose any keys. You c an then move the keys to
frames and revert to frames without ticks.
To play an animation with sound:
IntheTimeConfiguration>Playbackgroup,
besureyouhaveRealTimeturnedon.IfReal
Time is not on, the sound will not play back
during the animation.

ThesearethecontrolsfortheTimeConfiguration
dialog . You can display this dialog by right-clicking
any of the time control buttons to the right of the
Auto K ey button.
Frame Rate group
These four option buttons, labeled NT SC (page
3–980),Film,PAL (page 3–988),andCustom
let you set the frame rate (page 3–944) in
fram es-per-second (FPS). T he first three buttons
force the standard FPS for that choice. The Custom
button lets you specify your own FPS by adjusting
the spinner.
FP S (Fr ames Per S econd)—Sets the f rame rate of
youranimationinFramesperSecond.Useframe
ratesof30fpsforvideo,24forfilm,andlowerrates
for web and m edia animations.
Time Display group
Specifies the method for displaying time in the
time slider and throughout the program. Choices
are Frames or in minutes, seconds and ticks.
