To zoom f r om the k ey boar d:
• On the keyboard, press [ (lef t bracket) to
zoom in, and
] (right bracket) to zoom out.

Activate a Perspective or orthographic viewport. >
Viewport Navigation controls > Zoom All
Zoom All lets you adjust view magnification in
all Perspective and orthog r aphic view ports at the
same time.
By default, Zoom All zooms in and out of the
center of the viewports.
Pr ocedur es
To zoom all views:
1.
Activate a Perspective or orthographic
viewport.
2. Click Zoom A ll.
The button high lights when it is on.
3. Drag in a viewpor t to change mag nification in
all v iew ports.
• Drag upward to increase magnification.
• Drag downward to decrease mag nification.
4. Press Es c or ri ght-click to turn off the button.
To zoom a ll viewports except the Perspective
viewport:
1.
Click Zo om All.
2. Hold down Shif t and drag in a v iewport to
zoom all the viewports except the Perspective.
Note: You can drag in a Perspec tive viewport,
but you only see the zoom in orthographic
viewports.

The Zo om Extents flyout displays the Zoom
Extents button and the Zoom Extents Selected
button.
Zoom Extents centers all visible objects in an
active Perspective or orthographic viewport. This
controlisusefulwhenyouwanttoseeeveryobject
inasceneinasingleviewport.
Zoom Extent s Selected cen ters a selected
object, or set of objects, in an active Perspective
and orthographic viewport. This control is usef ul
whenyouwanttonavigatetosmallobjectslostin
acomplexscene.
Procedures
To zoom al l objects in one v iewpor t:
1.
Activate the Perspective or orthog r aphic
view por t you want to zoom.
2. Click Zoom Extents.
The viewport displays all objects in the scene.
To zoom on a specifi c object:
1.
Activate the Perspective or orthog r aphic
view por t you want to zoom.
2. Select the object by clicking it, or press H to
select it by name.
3. Click Zoom Extents Selected.
