Create Offset Curve button
An Offset curve is offset from the origina l, p a rent
curve. It is normal to the original. You can offset
both planar and 3D curves.

Procedure
To cre ate an offse t cu rve:
1.
In a NURBS object that contains at least
onecurve,turnonOffset.
2. Click the curve you want to offset, and drag to
set the initial distance.
An offset cur ve is created.
3. Adjust the Offset p arameter.
If the parent curve is not linear, increasing the
distance increasingly exaggerates the curvature
of the offset curve.
