If you plan to wire p arameters between two
objects, create the assembly first and then set up
the wiring . Be sure to include both objects in the
assembly.
Becausewiringshouldbedoneaftertheassembly
is created, you will probably find it easiest to
create the charac ter assembly before animating
the character.

Group menu > Group
The Group command combines a selection set of
objectsorgroupsintoasinglegroup.
Once you group objects, you can treat them as
a single object in your scene. You can click any
object in the group to select the group object. You
cantransformthegroupasasingleobject,andyou
canapplymodifiersasifitwereasingleobject.
Groups can contain other groups, up to an y level.
Group names are similar to object names, except
that they’re c arried by the group object. In lists
like the one in the Select Objects dialog (page
1–78),groupnamesappearinsquarebrackets.For
example: [Group01].
If a group is selected, its name will appear in
bolded”textintheNameAndColorrollout.
