Inter face
While a sur face-cur ve intersection point
sub-object is selected, a rollout with its parameters
appears.
Trim Curve group
Trim—When on, trims the curve from the surface.
When off, the curve isn’t trimmed.
Flip Trim—When on, trims the curve in the
opposite direction.
Seed—Changes the U location of the seed value
on the curve. If there is a choice of intersections,
the intersect ion closest to the seed point is the one
used to create the p oint.
Replace Cur ve and R eplace Sur face— (On ly at
modification time.) Let you replace the parent
sub-objects. Click a button, then click a cu rve or
surfacetoreplacetheoriginalparentobject.

This dialog is a general way to convert one kind of a
curve to another or to adjust a curves parameters.
Interfa ce
Point Cur ve a nd CV Curve—Choose w hether to
convert to a point curve or a CV curve. If the
curveisalreadyofthetypeyouchose,thesettings
in this dialog don’t convert it, but do change its
properties. D efault=CV Curve.
CV Cur ve option s
ThesearetheoptionswhenyouchooseCVCurve.
Number When chosen, the spinner sets the
number of CVs in the CV curve.
ToleranceWhen chosen, the software calculates
thenumberofCVs.Thisoptionrebuildsthecurve
according to accuracy. The lower the Tolerance
value,themoreaccuratetherebuild. Increasing
Tolerance enables the curve to be rebuilt using
fewer CVs.
