Tee Spline 287
Parameters rollout
Lengt h—Controls the height of the vertical leg of
the angle.
Width—Controls the width of the horizontal leg
of the angle.
Thick ness—Controls the thickness of both legs of
the angle.
Sync Cor ner Fillets—When turned on, Corner
Radius 1 con trols the radius of both the int erior
and exterior corners between the vertical and
horizontal legs. It also maintains the thickness of
the sec tion. Default=on.
Co rner Radius 1Controls the exterior r adius
between the vertical and horizontal leg s of the
angle.
Co rner Radius 2Controls the interior radius
between the vertical and horizontal leg s of the
angle.
Edge R adii—Controls the interior radius at the
outermost edges of the vertical and horizon tal legs.
Note: Take care when adjusting these settings.
There are no constraining relationships between
them. Therefore, it’s possible to set an inside
radius(CornerRadius2)thatisgreaterthanthe
length or width of the legs of the angle.

Create menu > Shapes > Tee
Use Tee to create a closed T-shaped spline. You
can specify the radius of the two interior corners
between the vertical web and horizontal flange of
the section.
Example of Tee
Procedure
To crea t e a Tee s pl in e:
1.
Go to the Create p anel and choose
Shapes.
2. Open the Shapes List and select Extended
Splines.
3. Click Tee.
4. Drag and release the mouse button to define
the initial size of the tee.
5. Move the mouse and then click to define the
thickness of the walls of the tee.

All spline-based shapes share these parameters.
