Migration and Customization
New and enhanced migration tools in AutoCAD 2012 make it easier to migrate your custom settings or
reset AutoCAD to the default install settings.
The Tool Palette files option in the Migrate Custom Settings dialog box provides improved migration for
tool palettes created in previous versions of AutoCAD. Migrating tool palette files now includes tool
palette groups. A new option in the Migrate Custom Settings dialog box enables you to migrate the My
Materials Library file introduced in AutoCAD 2011.
