586 | Chapter 21 Create Layouts
You specify a page setup for the layout only once, when you create the lay-
out. The page setup is saved in the drawing. You don't need to specify these
settings again each time you plot. If you want to plot the same layout more
than one way, or if you want to specify the same output options for several
layouts, use named page setups.
To save a page setup
1 From the File menu, choose Page Setup.
2 In the Page Setup dialog box, choose the Plot Device tab and choose a
printer or plotter. Choose the Layout Settings tab and change settings as
necessary.
3 At Page Setup Name, choose Add.
4 In the User Defined Page Setups dialog box, enter a name for the page
setup.
5 Choose OK.
The name you enter is displayed as the current name in the Page Setup
dialog box.
