To update a link manually
1 From the Edit Menu, choose OLE Links.
2 In the Links dialog box, select the link you want to update.
3 Choose Update Now.
4 Choose Close.
Note If you want to select the links from the graphics area rather than from a
list in the Links dialog box, select the OLE object before step 1.
Command line OLELINKS
To change links
1 In the AutoCAD drawing, select the linked object you want to update.
2 From the AutoCAD Edit menu, choose OLE Links.
3 In the Links dialog box, choose Change Source.
4 In the Change Source dialog box, search the folders to find the file name
or file location.
5 Select the OLE server file and choose Open.
If you select a file without a link, AutoCAD tries to find the file. If the file
did not originate in the same application, or if the application cannot find
the named object, the link fails.
