712 | Chapter 24 Link and Embed Data (OLE)
To move an OLE object behind or in front of AutoCAD objects
1 Right-click the OLE object.
2 From the shortcut menu, choose Bring to Front or Send to Back.
To restore an OLE object to its original size and shape
1 Right-click the OLE object.
2 From the shortcut menu, choose Cut.
3 From the Edit menu, choose Paste.
The OLE object is pasted back into the drawing at its original size and
shape.

To change the layer of an OLE object
1 Right-click the OLE object.
2 From the shortcut menu, choose Cut.
3 Use the Layers toolbar or the
LAYER command to change the current layer.
4 From the Edit menu, choose Paste.
The OLE object is pasted into the new layer, also reverting to its original
size and shape.

To control the display of OLE objects
1 At the Command prompt, enter olehide.
2 Enter one of the following values:
■ 0 Displays OLE objects in both paper space and model space.
■ 1 Displays OLE objects in paper space only.
■ 2 Displays OLE objects in model space only.
■ 3 Does not display OLE objects.
To turn the selectability of an OLE object on or off
1 Right-click the OLE object.
2 From the shortcut menu, choose Selectable.
The check mark indicates the OLE object is selectable.
