832 | Chapter 30 Publish Drawing Sets
7 If you have added a password to protect your DWF file, in the Confirm
Password dialog box, re-enter your password, and then click OK.
The Now Plotting dialog box is displayed and shows the process in action.
The Publishing Complete dialog box opens and displays a message about
the status of the publishing process (“Publish completed successfully” or
“Errors and Warnings found, save and review log file for details.”) You can
save a log file or view the DWF file as follows:
■ Click Save Log File. In the Save Log File dialog box, enter a name for the
log file, click Save, and then click Close in the Publishing Complete dia-
log box.
The log file provides status information about the publishing process
such as which sheets were plotted and which ones were not. Log files
are saved as CSV (Comma Separated Values) files that can be viewed in
a spreadsheet program.
Warning! If you don’t save the log file while the Publishing Complete dia-
log box is open, you cannot retrieve the list later. The log file goes away when
you close the dialog box.
■ Click View DWF File (only available in multi-sheet DWF publishing) to
view the DWF file. The DWF file is opened in Autodesk Express Viewer.
When finished, close the viewer, then click OK in the Publishing Com-
plete dialog box.
8 To end publishing, in the Publish Drawing Sheets dialog box, click Close.
If you have not saved your new list of sheets, the List of Sheets Changed
dialog box opens giving you the opportunity to save your drawing set as
a list.
9 To save your new list of drawing sheets, in the List of Sheets Changed dia-
log box, click Yes.
10 In the Save List As dialog box, enter the file name for the list and click
Save.
11 In the Make DWF window, click OK.
