Use Viewpoints and
Sectioning Modes
Viewpoints are snapshots taken of the model as it is displayed in the scene.
Viewpoints may include a variety of comments and redline tags, which have been
previously added to a viewpoint. You cannot create viewpoints in Autodesk
Navisworks, but you can use any of the viewpoints and viewpoint animations
saved in the model. Viewpoint animation typically contains both the user
movement through the model and views of the model.
Create and Modify Viewpoints
Saved Viewpoints Window
The Saved Viewpoints window is a floating window that enables
you to jump to preset viewpoints without having to navigate each
time to reach an item.
Viewpoint animations are also saved with the viewpoints, as they
are simply a list of viewpoints treated as keyframes.
Icons are used to represent different elements:
represents a folder which may contain all other elements
(including other folders).
