For optional function (trunk release)
Press
and hold
Activates the Aux output, such as trunk release or an expansion
function that you have added to your system. The auxiliary output
controls:

Remote start
Press and release
Activates (or if On, deactivates) the remote starter. The engine and
parking lights turn On.
