Hearing Aids
Some digital wireless devices may interfere with the normal operations of some hearing aids.
In case of such interference, consult your service provider or contact the manufacturer of your
hearing aid to determine alternatives.
Other Medical Devices
If you use any other personal medical devices, consult the manufacturer of that device to
determine if it is adequately shielded from external RF energy. Your physician may be able to
assist you in obtaining this information.
Medical Facilities
Turn Autonet Mobile off in hospitals and other health care facilities when any regulations
posted in these facilities tell you to do so. Hospitals and other health care facilities may be
using equipment that could be sensitive to external RF energy.
Posted Facilities
Turn Autonet Mobile off in any facility where posted notices so require.
Blasting Areas
To avoid interfering with any blasting operations, turn Autonet Mobile off when in any “blasting
area” or in any area posted: “Turn off two-way radio.” Obey all signs and instructions.
Potentially Explosive Atmospheres
Turn Autonet Mobile off when in any area with a potentially explosive atmosphere and obey all
signs and instructions. Sparks in such areas could cause an explosion or fire and result in
bodily injury or death.
Areas with a potentially explosive atmosphere are often, but not always, clearly marked.
They include fueling areas, like a gasoline/petrol station, fuel or chemical transfer or storage
facilities; vehicles using liquefied petroleum gas (such as propane and butane); areas where
the air contains chemicals or particles, such as grain, dust, or metal powders; and any other
area where you would normally be advised to turn off your vehicle engine.
Battery Information
As Autonet Mobile may contain a lithium-ion battery, neither Autonet Mobile nor the battery
should be disposed of in a fire; Keep any batteries for Autonet Mobile away from small
children and animals; Dispose of Autonet Mobile and any battery therefor in accordance with
local laws and regulations in your area governing the disposal of such items; The battery may
present a fire or chemical burn hazard if mistreated. Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, or
heat the battery above 60 degrees Celsius; Do not allow metal objects to touch the battery’s
contacts and keep them clean; Do not insert the battery or any part thereof into your mouth,
nose, ears, or any other body part; Do not use a damaged battery as it may cause serious
injury; Use only the battery or batteries that Autonet Mobile, Inc. provides or specifies for use
