ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
a. Remove blue caps from orange cutter frames (1&2), discard after removing.
b. Connect right & left cutter frames (1&2) to “Y” frame adapter (4).
c. Attach slide kit with wheels (3) to right & left orange cutter frames (1&2)
d. To join handles, connect rst berglass pole (5) to “Y” frame adapter (4), by pushing down on
the snap button and fasten securely. Slide aluminum coupler (6) into berglass pole end until
the snap buttons line up with the holes in the handle. Repeat for all additional poles.
e. Place the black Vinyl End Grip (7) on the end of the last pole.
SnowRake Head Installation (Premium Package AVA1000 only)
* Unsnap the handle frame adapter (4) from the berglass poles. Keep slide kit & cutter frames
attached to handle frame adapter for future use.
* Snap the universal adapter (9) to the rst berglass pole & connect the SnowRake head (8).
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
a. Place the cutter frame at the lower roof edge with the plastic slide hanging down. Slowly roll
the cutter frame up the roof. The plastic slide will follow under the snow, the snow will slide
down the plastic. (If resistance occurs, STOP and adjust)
b. Repeat the process working along the roof edge to remove snow. Keeping 5’ of roof edge
clear of snow will typically prevent ice dams. * THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT REMOVE ICE DAMS *

LIMITED WARRANTY
Avalanche, Inc. warrants this equipment to be free from defects in material and
workmanship under normal use. *THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT REMOVE ICE DAMS* This warranty is
extended to the original purchaser for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase and is
applicable only when the equipment is assembled and operated in accordance with factory
recommendations. The warranty does not extend to damage or wear caused by misuse, abrasion,
corrosion, negligence, accident, faulty assembly or tampering in a manner to impair its normal oper-
ation. Because the plastic slide is subject to abrasion and wear in normal use, it is intended to be a
disposable replacement part and no warranty is given with respect to it.
RETURN POLICY
All returns must be made within 30 days from the date of purchase. There is a 15% restock fee that
will be applied to ALL orders unless covered by our warranty listed above. Product must be in
original condition and original box. No freight charges will be refunded.
