Parts IdenƟĮcaƟon Seamless Stainless Door Control Panel Roll-Out Shelf Door Handle Door Lock Front Vent Carbon Filter Internal Fan This is an air-cooled unit equipped with an internal fan that helps to provide a more consistent temperature. Internal Fan Carbon Filter A built-in carbon Įlter protects your wine by acƟng as a natural barrier against harmful odors. Leveling Legs Note: The carbon Įlter should be replaced every 3-6 months depending on the unit’s exposure level to odor.
Installing Your Wine Refrigerator The wine refrigerator should be installed in accordance with local electrical code requirements. The wine refrigerator should also be placed in a locaƟon that is strong enough to support its total weight, keeping in mind that it will weigh substanƟally more when fully loaded than when empty. Before you plug the wine refrigerator into a power supply, be sure to let it stand upright for at least 24 hours to allow the compressor’s oils to seƩle.
InstallaƟon Clearance Requirements When installing the wine refrigerator under a counter, follow the recommended spacing dimensions shown. • To ensure proper service access and venƟlaƟon, allow between 2-3 inches of clearance at the back as shown in the below diagram. • The installaƟon should allow the unit to be pulled forward for servicing, if necessary. • The wine refrigerator should be installed on a Įrm and level surface that will be able to support the enƟre weight of a fully loaded unit.
Electrical Requirements ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD! • Plug into a grounded 3-prong outlet • Never remove the grounding prong from the plug • Never use an adapter to bypass the grounding prong • DO NOT use an extension cord • Failure to follow these instrucƟons can result in Įre, electrical shock, or personal injury.
Installing your Door Handle and Shelves INSTALLING THE DOOR HANDLE: 1. Open the door and carefully pull the door gasket around the area where the handle is to be installed. 2. Carefully remove the two pre-installed decoraƟve plugs from the front of the door. Note: some wine coolers do not have decoraƟve plugs installed. 3. Insert each Phillips head screw through the gasket side of the door unƟl the screw pass through the door. 4.
OperaƟon INSTALLATION CHECK LIST BEFORE OPERATION 1. Have all packing materials and tape been removed from the interior and exterior of the wine refrigerator? 2. Have the installaƟon instrucƟons been followed, including connecƟng the machine to electricity? And has proper grounding been installed for the wine refrigerator? 3. Has the machine been leveled? 4. Is the wine refrigerator in a site where the ambient temperature is between 50º F and 95º F all year round? 5.
Normal Sounds Your new wine refrigerator may make sounds that are not familiar to you. Most of the new sounds are normal. Hard surfaces like the Ňoor, walls can make the sounds seem louder than they actually are. The following describes the kinds of sounds that might be new to you and what may be making them. • RaƩling noises may come from the Ňow of the refrigerant or the water line, Items stored on top of the wine refrigerator can also make noises.
Cleaning and Maintenance Periodic cleaning and proper maintenance will ensure eĸciency, top performance, and long life. EXTERIOR CLEANING The door and cabinet may be cleaned with a mild detergent and lukewarm water soluƟon such as 2 tablespoons of baking soda to 1 quart of water. Do not use solvent based or abrasive cleaners. Use a soŌ sponge and rinse with clean water. Wipe with a soŌ clean towel to prevent water spoƫng.
Trouble ShooƟng ISSUE The wine cooler turns on and oī frequently. The wine cooler does not turn on. POSSIBLE CAUSE • The room temperature is higher than the recommended ambient environment. • The door is being opened oŌen. • The door is not completely closed. •The door gasket is not sealing properly. •The cooler does not have the suggested venƟlaƟon. • There is a power failure. • The cooler is not plugged in.
