IMPORTANT SAFEGUIDES Before the appliance is used, it must be properly positioned and installed as described in this manual, so read the manual carefully. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION Warning Improper use of the grounded plug can result in the risk of electrical shock. If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced by an authorized Avanti Products service center. This appliance should be properly grounded for your safety. The power cord of this appliance is equipped with a three-prong plug which mates with standard three prong wall outlets to minimize the possibility of electrical shock.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR WINE CHILLER • Remove the exterior and interior packing. • Check to be sure you have all of the following parts: 1 3 1 1 1 1 Instruction Manual Shelves Argon Gas Regulator Replacement Hose for Wine Dispenser Argon Gas Cartridge Spacer Pad • Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water using a soft cloth. • INSTALLATION OF YOUR WINE CHILLER • This wine chiller uses thermoelectric refrigeration technology (no compressor).
OPERATING YOUR WINE CHILLER It is recommended you install the wine chiller in a place where the ambient temperature is between 19ºC-24ºC (66ºF-75ºF). If the ambient temperature is above or below recommended temperatures, the performance of the unit may be affected. For example, placing your unit in extreme cold or hot conditions may cause interior temperatures to fluctuate.
Setting up the Wine Dispenser Assembly Start by removing the Argon gas regulator from the shelf by removing the tie-wraps. The gas hose (rear hose) should be connected for you by the factory but in the event the hose is not connected to the regulator, simply insert the end of the hose into the pressure coupler, this will create the seal necessary to allow the flow of gas into the dispensing assembly.
Dispensing Wine Dispenser Control Panel Continuous Manual Pour Press this button for a continuous pour. This option should be used when filling a carafe or decanter. Press and hold to continuously dispense. Release button to stop the flow of wine. ** This option should also be used when cleaning the dispensing system, see the section titled, Cleaning your Wine Dispenser System ** on page 12. Dispense by the glass Press this button to dispense wine in 1, 2, or 3 ounce servings.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE • • • • • • • • • • CLEANING YOUR WINE CHILLER Turn off the power, unplug the appliance, and remove all items including shelves. Wash the inside surfaces with a warm water and baking soda solution. The solution should be about 2 tablespoons of baking soda to a quart of water. Wash the shelves with a mild detergent solution. Wring excess water out of the sponge or cloth when cleaning area of the controls, or any electrical parts.
