Standards, Codecs and QoS Settings
The SIP Firmware Release 1.1 is designed to support the following standards, codec
and QoS settings:
• DTMF payload via RFC2833 and G.711 in-band signaling
• G.711 and G.729a codecs
• DNS for Domain Name Resolution
• Layer 2 802.1 p/Q packet priority
• Layer 3 ToS and IP precedence bit tagging
• QoS metrics monitoring and reporting
• Firewall and NAT traversal (via STUN).
