After Tier III approval, qualified customers will receive software CD (material ordering code 700186315)
if they need to update to R2. V3.2. Qualified customers then must call the TSO to receive the software
patch if needed.
DEFINITY Release 10:
When BCMS VU, DEFINITY® Release 9 customers upgrade to R10, they must call in to the Technical
Service Organization to receive the BCMS VU r2v3.2 patch 1 in order to correct problems identified in
the REASON FOR CHANGE section.
This patch is available only to Avaya? employees on the Avaya internal network on -

LINUX Platforms:
Required: S8300 and S8700 Media Servers installed with MultiVantage 1.1 must also have the
01.0.060.4-0016 (or later) MultiVantage software patch. This patch will be available at the
http://support.avaya.com website under "Software Downloads" for the appropriate products. For more
details on the MV patch, contact Lucy Vondracek, 720-444-2495.
LEGACY Platforms:
DEFINITY Server R, SI, and CSI products that are installed with MultiVantage 1.1 must obtain a field
trial load as follows:
Open a MAESTRO trouble ticket for the "g3ftt4" box through normal escalation procedures. In
the ticket specify:
1. The current load they are on (R011x.01.0.060.4 for MV 1.1)
2. The load they wish to upgrade to (R011x.01.0.065.1)
3. The platform (e.g., G3r, si, csi, D1, IP600)
4. Media (e.g., MO for G3r, flash for si, etc.)
5. Whether the system is simplex or duplex
6. The Avaya Field Technician shipping information including phone number. This cannot be
a P.O. Box, it must be a valid address.
or
Wait until the MV1.1.2 load is available as a QPPCN. The MV 1.1.2 QPPCN numbers are the
following:
- 1363B for si and csi
- 1364B for G3r.
