The Avaya 7316E button number assignment depends on the software version of the Norstar ICS
or Business Communications Manager system.
The
7316E button number assignment is important when:
• Programming User Preferences in Norstar Configuration.
• Programming the Business Communications Manager from your web browser.
The 7316E button number assignment type is shown below based on system/software
versions.
Norstar programming
A programming overlay is provided in your
documentation kit. Place it on the
7316E
telephone to label the four buttons used
for Norstar programming.
Note: The four buttons used for Norstar
programming will appear on the top or
middle sections of the programming overlay
depending on the 7316E button number
assignment.
