Command: &S
Function: Data Set Ready (DSR) options
Type: configuration
Arguments: The &S command accepts one of two arguments as
follows:
0 — (or no argument) the DSR circuit is maintained on
at all times (factory-default setting)
1 — the DSR circuit operates according to the
EIA/TIA-574 standard.
S-Register: Bit 6 of S21 is set according to the argument used with
the &S command.
Example: AT&S1
Comments: In the example, the DSR circuit is configured to operate
according to the EIA/TIA-574 standard. Regardless of
which option is currently in effect, the DSR circuit of the
8400B Plus Data Module is always off during self-test.
