To remove a DRAM SIMM:

Press down the locking tab on each side of the SIMM to release it from

the connector.

The SIMM tilts back at a slight angle toward the front of the tray (F

igure 1-3).

Grasp the top corners of the SIMM and pull it up and out of the

connector.
