14 Click Published.
15 Click OK.
The package lists in the right pane of the Group Policy window.
16 Exit the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in.
When the client computer starts, the managed software package
automatically installs.
17 To test the package, perform the following steps:
1. Log on to a workstation that is running Windows 2000
Professional or Windows XP Professional by using an
account to which you published the package.
2. In Windows 2000, click Start > Settings > Control Panel.In
Windows XP, click Start > Control Panel.
3. Double-click Add/Remove Programs (Windows 2000) or
Add or Remove Programs (Windows XP).
4. Click Add New Programs.
5. In the Add Programs from your network list, click the program
that you published.
6. Click Add. The program is installed.
7. Click OK.
8. Close the program.

Redeploying software
Step Action
1 Click Start > Programs > Administrative Tools > Active
Directory Users and Computers to start the Active Directory
Users and Computers snap-in.
2 In the console tree, right-click on your domain name.
3 Click Properties.
4 Click the Group Policy tab.
5 Select the group policy object.
6 Click Edit.
7 Press the plus (+) sign beside Computer Configuration, to
expand it.
