Name Description
Phonebook Key Function Specifies the Phonebook key behavior. Select one
of the following options:
• Default
• LDAP Search
• Local Phonebook
• Local Group

Configuring the LDAP settings
Procedure
1. Click Phonebook > LDAP.
The system displays theLDAP page.
2. Enter the required details for each field.
3. Click Save.

LDAP settings field descriptions
Name
Description
Server Address Specifies the IP address or DNS name of the LDAP
server.
Port Specifies the port of the LDAP server.
Base Specifies the LDAP search base. The search base is
location in the directory from where the search
begins. For example dc=grandstream, dc=com.
User Name Specifies the bind user name for querying the LDAP
server. If the LDAP server allows anonymous binds,
you can leave this field blank.
Password Specifies the bind password for querying the LDAP
server. If the LDAP server allows anonymous binds,
you can leave this field blank.
