1. Press Main menu.4
2. Scroll to Settings, and press Select.5
3. Scroll to Audio, and press Select.6
4. Scroll to Headset signaling.7
5. Press Toggle to select one of the following options:8
• Disabled: Disables signaling from the phone to the headset.9
• Switch hook and alert: Activates the link to the headset if you press Headset. When10
the phone receives an incoming call, you hear the alert tone in the headset.11
• Switch hook only: Activates the link to the headset if you press Headset. When the12
phone receives an incoming call, you do not hear the alert tone in the headset.13

• Ensure that you are on a call and the caller’s audio level is at 50%.20
• Adjust the microphone position as recommended by your headset vendor.21

3. Scroll to Audio, and press Select.25
4. Scroll to Headset mic level, and press Select.26
5. Press one of the following:27
• Right arrow key: To increase the gain level.28
• Left arrow key: To decrease the gain level.29
6. (Optional) To set the default gain level, press Default.30
