• Transfer calls by pressing the Busy Indicator line key1
• Make conference calls with BI users2
The icon next to the Busy Indicator line key displays the current status of the monitored user (idle3
or busy).4
The user status is also reflected by the indication of LEDs integrated into the corresponding line5
keys.6
You can relabel and move a Busy Indicator line key from the Phone keys customization menu.7
However, you cannot add or delete Busy Indicator keys configured on your phone. Contact your8
system administrator if you want to add more BI line keys or delete the existing ones.9

Busy Indicator icons look the same as Presence “Available” and “On a call” icons but they might14
differ depending on the phone or the button module model.15

You can make a quick call to monitored users, for example, when you want to provide direct22
instructions to them.23
Procedure24
Do one of the following:25
• On the Phone screen, scroll to the required Busy Indicator line, and press Call.26
• Press the required Busy Indicator line key.27

Use this procedure to add a monitored user to an active call to set up a conference call.30

1. During an ongoing call, press More > Conf.32
The phone puts the call on hold, and displays the Select a participant notification.33
