Nortel Mobile Communication Client 3100 for Nokia User Guide 55
1. When you receive an incoming call, the MCC 3100 for Nokia
Incoming Call Confirmation dialog box appears.
2. To accept the call, choose the contact location where you want to
receive the call, then press the green Call button or select Accept
from the menu. The call is forwarded to the contact location you
specified where you can answer it.
3. To decline the call, press the red hangup button or select Decline
from the menu. The call terminates.
During the call, the MCC 3100 runs in the background. After the call, the
MCC 3100 returns to its original display status.
If you do not answer the call, it is forwarded to your alternate call handling
point—another phone or voice mail.
Working with friends and contacts
Add people to the MCC 3100 local address book and designate them as
either Contacts or Friends. Although there are many functional similarities
between friends and contacts, the two groups are managed separately in
the MCC 3100. Your contacts are listed on one screen and your friends
on another.
Use the MCC 3100 for Nokia to:
add friends and contacts
call friends and contacts individually or as a member of an instant
conference
view their contact details
With mobility enabled friends and contacts, you can:
import them from the corporate directory to the MCC 3100 for Nokia
track their presence status
send them instant messages
Each friend has a name and at least one contact number: an extension
number. Other contact numbers (for example, home, mobile) are optional.
