12. The MCG 3100 calls the users you selected at their default contact
locations. They are prompted to select one of the following options on
the MCC 3100.
— Join Now to join the instant conference immediately.
— Join Later to be prompted to join the instant conference at a later
time. To set your reminder notification interval, see “Configuring
your Call settings” on page 38.
— Decline to reject the instant conference.
Users can also join an instant conference by pressing # on their
telephone dialpad. A tone is heard each time someone joins the
instant conference.
Managing instant conferences
Use the following procedures to manage group voice calls:
• Joining an instant conference that is in progress
• Managing an instant conference with the dialpad
• Leaving an instant conference
• Ending an instant conference
Joining an instant conference that is in progress
1. Navigate to the Logs screen. For more information, see “Logging
Events” on page 84.
2. Select the instant conference entry that you want to join.
3. Select Options, Join Now from the menu.
The Instant Conference Session screen appears and lists the instant
conference participants.
4. To join the instant conference, select Options, Join Now.
5. Press # when you are prompted.
If the instant conference is in progress, you join it. If the instant
conference ended, you receive an error message.
