MCC 3100 for Windows Mobile Dual Mode functionality

If the WiFi network is available, which means you can log on and the
signal strength is sufficient, the MCC 3100 for Windows Mobile Dual
Mode connects to the WiFi network and WiFi A appears in the dialpad
display. This indicates that the wireless network is your current
dialout network and is used for all outgoing calls. See Figure 30 on
page 65.

If the WiFi network becomes unavailable and the cellular network is
available, Cellular A appears in the dialpad display. This indicates
that the cellular network is your current dialout network and is used
for all outgoing calls. See Figure 31 on page 65.

Table 7 describes the network connection status which appears on your
dialpad display.

Button lamp Status
WiFi-A Indicates an automatic connection to the wireless
network. See Figure on page 65.
Cellular-A Indicates an automatic connection to the cellular
network when WiFi becomes unavailable. See
Figure on page 65. You are switched back to the
WiFi network when it becomes available.
No Service Indicates no network connection is available. See
Figure 29 on page 64.
