MCC 3100 for Windows Mobile Dual Mode implementation

Install and configure the communication server

The MCC 3100 for Windows Mobile Dual Mode depends on the following

communication server components:

• Call Server

— Each user requires up to 2 Personal Call Assistants (PCA)

— 1 PCA to support the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) interface on

the MCC 3100 for Windows Mobile Dual Mode

— 1 PCA to extend all calls to the cell interface of the MCC 3100 for

Windows Mobile Dual Mode

• SIP Gateway

The SIP Gateway runs on the VxWorks Signaling Server platform.

• SIP Proxy Server

The MCC 3100 for Windows Mobile Dual Mode requires the use of the

NRS SIP Proxy Server (only available on the Linux based NRS).
