Firewall configuration fields

Pinhole Time

If you select STUN as the Discovery Method,

configure the Pinhole Timer to a value between 10

seconds and 3 minutes to keep the firewall port

open.

If the Mobile Console is not behind a firewall and

Enable WIFi Standby is cleared in the Advanced

settings, configure the Pinhole Timer to a value

between 30 seconds and 3 minutes. This maintains

a permanent WiFi connection, which is necessary if

you want to make and receive WiFi calls at any time.

Whenever possible, use a high value (two minutes

or more) to conserve battery life.

Discovery

Method

Select None or STUN.

Server

Address

If you select STUN as the Discovery Method, enter

the address of the STUN Server.

Server

Port

If you select STUN as the Discovery Method, enter

the port number of the STUN Server.

6 On the the System Profile page, click the Audio tab and

configure the parameters listed in Table 6 "Audio configuration

fields" (page 34).

Packetization

Rate (ms)

Select the packetization rate for the voice

portion of RTP packets. Configure the value

in 10-millisecond increments, from 10 to 40

milliseconds. The default is 20 milliseconds.

Echo

Suppression

If you select Echo Suppression, echo is

suppressed while the Mobile Console is in use

on the mobile device. This option is enabled by

default.
