IKE Proposal configuration fields

Use Default IKE

Proposal

Select the check box to use the default IKE

proposal, or clear it to configure a custom IKE

proposal. If you clear the check box, you can

modify the following fields:

IKE Group

IKE Cipher

IKE Hash

IKE PRF

IKE Lifetime

Enter the lifetime of the IKE proposal.

Automatic

Retry

Select the check box to perform an automatic

retry when the IKE lifetime expires.

16 On the VPN Profile page, select the IPSec Proposal tab and

configure the parameters listed in Table 12 "IPSec configuration

fields" (page 41).

Use Default

IPSec Proposal

Select the check box to use the default IPSec

proposal, or clear it to configure a customized

IPSec proposal. If you clear the check box, you

can modify the following fields:

IPSec Group

IPSec Cipher

IPSec Hash

IPSec Lifetime

Enter the lifetime of the IPSec proposal.

Automatic

Retry

Select the check box to perform an automatic

retry after the IPSec lifetime expires.

17 Click Save As.

18 In the Input dialog box, enter the new system profile name and

click OK.

You can now associate the new system profile with user profiles.

System profile updates

After you update an existing system profile, all associated user profiles

are automatically regenerated. For more information, see Procedure 7

“Updating a system profile” (page 42).
