Table 13
Contact information configuration fields
User Name
Enter the username (for example, johnSmith).
First Name
Enter the user’s first name (for example, John).
Last Name
Enter the user’s last name (for example, Smith).
Extension
Number
Enter the user’s extension number (if applicable).
ATTENTION
User Name, First Name, Last Name, and Extension Number are
not added to the user configuration file or the license key. These
fields provide extra information, to make it easier to track multiple
user profiles within your organization.
Email
Address
Enter the user’s e-mail address. If Email Dispatch
is enabled, an e-mail that contains the user’s
license key is sent to this address when you
deploy the user profile.
If Email Dispatch is disabled, you must
locate the user’s license key in the
.../AdminTool_nortel/profiles directory.
The naming format for license keys is
<PIN>_license.txt. You must rename the file
(delete the <PIN>_ from the file name) before
you send it to the user. For more information, see
Procedure 5 “Manually delivering user license
keys and instructions” (page 32).
Organization
Enter the organization for this user profile. A
single enterprise can have multiple organizations
(for example, Chicago, Seattle, and Houston).
PIN
Every time you create a new user profile, the
system automatically generates a new PIN. The
PIN is unique and associates the user with a
license key.
If problems occur during license key validation,
send the PIN to the license server administrator,
who uses it to troubleshoot the issue.
5 Select the Lines tab and configure the parameters listed in Table
14 "Lines configuration fields" (page 45).
