Registration process
Source-based routing
When registered to a CS 1000 NRS-SPS, the MCC 3100 for Windows
Mobile Dual Mode uses the source-based routing feature of the CS 1000
NRS-SPS
Calls made from the MCC 3100 travel to the CS 1000 NRS-SPS and
trigger the SBR feature with the tag x-nt-feature=x-nt-home, which is in
the request URI of the INVITE sent from the MCC 3100. Rather than
routing based on the Request-URI, the SPS routes the call based on the
p-asserted-identity (PAI) tag within the INVITE. This method allows the
SPS to route the call to the MCC 3100 Windows Mobile users home Call
Server. The home Call Server then routes the call based on the TO field
included in the original INVITE.
