Overview

A minimum of one Enterprise Communication Server (ECS) is required.

MCS 5100 supports the Nortel Mobile Communication Client 3100 for

Windows Mobile Dual Mode. The term ECS refers to the MCS 5100

Session Manager.

MCC 3100 for Windows Mobile Dual Mode supports both Campus and

Geographic Redundancy.

MCS 5100 conﬁguration

To add MCC 3100 for Windows Mobile Dual Mode users, you can use

their existing SIP user accounts or, for new users, create new SIP user

accounts.

Registration

The MCC 3100 for Windows Mobile Dual Mode registers as a new User

Agent, as another instance of an existing SIP Account.
