Sample e-mail text

This appendix contains the text of the sample e-mail template.

Subject: MC Configuration

From: Admin

This e-mail explains how to install or upgrade the MCC 3100 for Windows

Mobile Dual Mode application on your Windows Mobile device. Please

review all steps before proceeding.

New Installation:

1. Obtain the MCC 3100 for Windows Mobile Dual Mode software from

www.domain.com. Install the software by following the procedure found

in the Nortel Mobile Communication Client 3100 for Windows Mobile

Dual Mode User Guide (NN42030-100).

Use MS ActiveSync to copy your license key (attached to this e-mail)

to the \MyDocuments folder on your Windows Mobile device.

Connect your Windows Mobile device to the Internet via a WiFi or

cellular network connection.

4. Start the MCC 3100 for Windows Mobile Dual Mode application. Your

license key is validated and your configuration file is automatically

downloaded. You may now start using the MCC 3100 for Windows

Mobile Dual Mode.

Upgrade Installation:

1. Connect your Windows Mobile device to the Internet via a WiFi or

cellular network connection.

2. Start the MCC 3100 for Windows Mobile Dual Mode application.
