Name of problem
Using the FNE “Drop Last Party Added”, drops the first party added on a SIP conference call
Products affected
4600 IP-Telephones - All SIP versions
Problem description
A conference call initiated from a non-AST SIP phone is locally controlled by the phone and may have 3 participants. If you would
like to drop the last party, use the drop button on the phone. Using Communication Manager’s “Drop Last Party Added” FNE code
will result in the first party called getting dropped. CM is not aware of a conference as the conference is handled by the phone. As far
as CM is concerned, it is simply 2 different call legs to the initiating phone. This is working as expected.
The “Drop Last Party Added” FNE may only be used if the “no-hold conference” FNE was used to initiate the conference.
