8. If the COM Port you selected is one that is being used by your PC, the
“COM Properties” dialog appears:
9. In the “COM Properties” dialog box, select the following port settings
from the pull-down menu:

Bits per second - Choose a baud rate of 9600.
●
Data bits - Choose 8 ASCII data bits.
●
Parity - Choose the “None” parity setting.
●
Stop bits - Choose 1 stop bit.
●
Flow control - Choose Xon/Xoff for the flow control.
