INPUT-OUTPUT
GP SERIAL 1 - (9-pin D - Male) - RS-232 serial port with maximum 38,400 bps data rate
GP SERIAL 2 - (9-pin D - Male) - RS-232 serial port with maximum 38,400 bps data rate
PTZ - (9-pin D - Male) - RS485, for connection to camera stations. Protocol is dependent on the camera
station type and model
DATA - (9-pin D - Male) - RS-232 data port with a maximum 57,600 bps.
IN/OUT - (15-pin screw)
EE - Export Evidence (not used in current version)
A/S - Access / Secure input to control the remote dialling capability
CLK - (not used in current version)
SPARE - Spare
MOD SEL - Mode Select input to switch operational mode via hardware
FLT - Fault Relay output - COM, N/O and N/C contacts
ALM - General Alarm Relay output - COM, N/O and N/C contacts
AUDIO
The AUDIO connector - (9-pin screw) is used to connect to local audio equipment.
OUT - Line Output with 600impedence
IN - Line Input with 6K impedence
SPKR +/- - Local connection for 8 speaker
MIC +/- - Local connection for 600microphone
AUDIO SWITCHER connector - (15-pin D - Male) - Channel select outputs for control of the ADPRO VM22A Audio
Switcher unit.
ALARM and CONTROL
The ALARM INPUT - (15-pin screw) connectors supports direct alarm device connections.
Up to thirty (30) external Alarm Inputs can be connected (20 only on Model 5010 and Model 5005). Inputs
can be programmed (via a setup menu) to trigger an alarm on either open or closed contacts
The CONTROL OUTPUT - (15-pin screw) connectors supports direct alarm device connections:
Twenty (20) Control Outputs (10 only on Model 5010 and Model 5005) low power open drain transistor
outputs. For high power/voltage equipment, suitable interface circuitry must be used
POWER
IEC 3-pin connector for use with 115 V - 230 V AC, 47 - 63 Hz input power. Maximum input current is 5 amps.
Typical unit power consumption when fully optioned is 100 W.
