Configuring the ADPRO FastTrace via the Ethernet connection is further discussed in the Setup Section (refer to
Section 2.0).
1.10.4 Network Port Pinout
The 8-pin RJ-45 Network port connector pinouts are shown below. Use Category 3, 4 or 5 cable when connecting to
a 10baseT wiring system or network hub. Cat 5 cable must be used for operation on a 100baseT wiring system.

1.11 GP Serial Port (1 and 2)
The General Purpose Serial Ports are used to connect the ADPRO FastTrace to other devices that use RS-232
signalling, for example Transaction Devices such as an ATM/POS terminal.
If using the GP Serial Port for ATM/POS, please ensure that confuguration switch 9 is in the correct position prior to
boot-up. Refer to Figure 1-2 for details.

It is important that a gateway address is only entered if a gateway is present.
