2.3.4.4.1 Video Capture (tab)
The Video Capture settings define the conditions that need to be met for video to be recorded. This includes the type
of recording, the video quality, recording rate and duration of recording.
2.3.4.4.2 Recording Type
Options: Do not Record, Continuous, Event, Continuous and Event
Default: Continuous
Each camera can be set to record continuously, to record only when an Alarm trigger condition occurs or a combination
of both. Depending on which of the options are selected, the Capture Settings options will differ.
The following diagram shows the different Video Capture settings that can be made when selecting either Continous
or Event recording.
IMPORTANT NOTE
The maximum recording rate of the ADPRO FastTrace is 25 ips (PAL) and 30ips
(NTSC) per compression card (at CIF resolution). The rate is an aggregate of all recording
channels and it should be noted that the recording rate of some channels may slow
down during alarm conditions to ensure alarm images are recorded.
