ADPRO FastTrace, Issue 5 2 - 43
2.3.4.4.3 Capture Settings - Defaults
The following table shows the Capture Settings defaults:
Quality
Range: 1 to 7
Sets the quality level of recorded images. A value of 1 sets the lowest recording quality and 7, the highest.
Table 2-1 - Quality Value versus Resolution
Record Rate
Options: 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30 (30 is NTSC only)
Sets the rate (per second) at which images will be captured. A CIF resolution, a value of 25 images per second is used
for ‘real-time’ recording in PAL and 30 ips for real-time recording in NTSC (2CIF = 12PAL / 15NTSC).
Capture Duration
Options: 10, 20, 30, 60 seconds, 2, 3, 5 minutes, While Event Active
Sets the duration after an event trigger, that images will be recorded. The While Event Active option will cause the
ADPRO FastTrace to keep recording images until the time the Event is no longer active.

CAUTION
Use the While Event Active option when recording from activity detection triggers to ensure no
activity is missed. (If the capture duration option is used with a time setting, the recording only
continues for that prescribed time from the start of the activity triggered event which may be less
than the total duration of that event.
