1.6.2 Connecting Devices
The back panel of the DVR unit, user can connect the 4 sensor devices, 1 alarm device, audio
input/output device and an external HDD storage device. Through the Gigabit LAN ports can connect with
the IP cameras and allows user to remote access the DVR server. The USB ports can connect the mouse
and keyboard for more easily to operate DVR server.
Follow the illustration below to make the connection:

The port LAN1 that is located at lower position of the back panel is a DHCP service port in default.

To connect more than one IP camera through the Ethernet cable, please connect the switch (DHCP
function disabled) or hub (DHCP function disabled) to the DVR unit, and then, connect the IP cameras
to the switch or hub.
- Port LAN1 that locate at lower position of the back panel is reserved for connecting with SF1301(W) IP
camera through Ethernet cable only. The DVR system will detect and configure the camera
automatically when the connection is made through the Ethernet cable.
- Port LAN2 is configurable for PPPOE, DHCP, or Fixed IP of the network mode.
