Chapter 9 Using HandyViewer to Access DVR

Users can use a mobile phone to access the DVR through Internet. Make sure your mobile
phone support IE browser and is connected to the internet. To access the DVR server, open
IE browser and enter http://enter server IP or domain name here/mobile. You can see the
latest screen shot. Click << >> to change the channel or camera and Refresh to reload
new screen shot.
9.1 Using PDA Viewer to Access DVR Server
Users can also use a PDA to access the DVR through Internet. Make sure your PDA
support IE browser and is connected to the internet. To use this feature, you need to install
the PDAViewer software either thru ActiveSync connection or download it from the internet.
Please check if your PDA meets the 2 requirements below.

9.1.1 To install PDAViewer thru ActiveSync
1. Connect your PDA to your PC. Place the CD into the
CD-ROM drive then click Install PDAViewer. And follow
the on screen instructions.
2. Click Next to continue.
3. Read the license agreement and click Yes to accept all
the terms. The system will then automatically install the
application.
4. When you are prompted, click Yes to install the
application using the default directory.
