To allow pinging of an IU configured as a "remote unit" i.e. with an IP address of (10.11.1.2) when
the PC has a 10.2.1.3 IP address, 10.2.1.2 default gateway and netmask 255.255.0.0, create batch
files.
Batch file 1 - addroute.bat
route add 10.11.0.0 mask 255.255.0.0 10.2.1.3
Batch file 1 adds a route so that the IP stack on the PC "knows" where to send IP packets destined
for the net 10.11.0.0
